Intro
Within the choice of tools employed, there are several kinds of suits and equipment modification required per terrain. In keeping with the idea that the afterlife conforms to basic properties we observe in our lives, one would need to design various suits to entertain being able to travel towards specific places within the afterlife. While technology will get you there faster, without waves, or asteroids, a good ship or piece of equipment would go a long way. What of past or alien beings who thought enough to envision and not enough to develop technology spiritually, remind you of the biblical depictions? The considering of these ideas is to envision the development of biological and technological advancement which can be insightful and provocative.
Underwater
In water 4 main elements to consider are breath-ability, pressure, light, and temperature. While wildlife may be a concern, we are talking specifically on traveling the terrain. If we are imagining designing the formation of our spirit with technology as useful and integrated within us, organic upgrades are also technology. For your eyes you would probably want your sight to include being able to capture ultra low light settings, likewise technology that allows the mapping and visualization of the surrounding based the ability to capture and decipher. Echo deciphering ability or satellite technology, automated sensor equipment that deliver feedback, meanwhile what will be their power source? Will they be organic and telepathic in design?
Space
Being in the vacuum of space without a suit one’s physical structure would be quite condensed if strong enough to endure. In the realm of spirituality I would sooner imagine the edge of the universe as vacuumed based, while the universe itself would allow floating, flying, gliding as far as planetary distances are concerned. Perhaps this is from the multitude of flying antidotes from a Christian entrenched dogma, or that I think mass attracts mass so that within the afterlife the vacuums of space require the level of ability used to form the universe, as in to create bubbles. For space, in these terms, propulsion would be the more important factor. Ss long as you can fuel a reasonable fuel or create alternative means of travel it seems like you would otherwise be limited to wings, assuming you envisioned those as a means of transportation which still regards descending or having some kind of special properties in the wings which perhaps people would have instilled through seeing birds and having enough faith.
Land Digger
When it comes to the land, whether traveling through or within the ability to scan its contents, it would seem that creating a far denser exoskeleton would be needed to dig without anything else. Otherwise creating a form able to transform or become an automated tool, how limited would you be without creating protocols for exploration. Not everyone would want to explore, fight, or even roam in the afterlife, especially if most regions can be documented and turned into media. It’s important to consider life and biological adaptation a way to engineer; such is the conscious reformation of your mind possible at each sleep. The active “sensor” and other data transmission network, these could be emitted by minds, the technology would be dependent on living beings… or perhaps we can form actual objects and even better machines to create complex objects.
These considerations bring us to the perspective is an ultra futuristic one, whereas the ideas of the ancient afterlives are often extremely limited. The past limitations on available resources may reflect as the projected afterlife void of much to begin with. It’s interesting that we are biblically asked not to make images of heaven, and this would be quite true if by doing so we create such images to be real, when instead the devotion to a kingdom may enable its leadership to generate? The exception seems to be Angels, which would protect the afterlife, a valid exception perhaps. With all things considered, any inventor, strategist, fiction or policy writer may want to think of these things, if not the devoted spiritual enthusiast. To any who believe an active imagination keeps the mind fresh and eager, enjoy your designs.
